Over Hiroshi

Hiroshi Wakamatsu started his career as a professional dancer in Tokyo, working with renowned choreographers and companies. Since his arrival in Belgium in 1996, he worked as a freelancer for various projects in Charleroi, Brussels, Athens, etc.

He joined the Komische Opera Ballet of Berlin in 2001 and later Tanzcompanie Giessen in 2004, where he worked with prominent choreographers, participated in Tanz Messe Düsseldorf and other various avant-garde dance projects.

In 2007 he returned to Belgium, founded his own dance company, Compagnie Hiroshi Wakamatsu, participated in dance festivals in Belgium, France, continued to work simultaneously as a dancer for Compagnie Irene K and participated in international dance festivals all over the world.

Since 2015, he started his professional acting career, appearing in movies, TV series, commercials, etc.
